What used to be standard practice is now finding more and more fans and enthusiasts: growing your own food and/or plants. You can simply experiment and try things out: depending on your preferences, you can really let your creativity flow. However, a sustainable perspective on the "how" is also helpful here. In any case, there are no more sustainable and healthier foods than those that are freshly harvested and used directly.
Tip: Use high-quality seeds or special seed pads (see foodigence) , otherwise various chemicals (e.g., pesticides) may be bred along with the seeds, or the seeds may come from opaque sources.
Tip: Choose your soil carefully; there is a virtually endless selection of varieties available for purchase. Ideally, the potting soil should not contain peat, and it can be reused again and again if enriched with compost or organic fertilizer. Instead of throwing away unwilted flowerpots, the soil can be collected and reused.
